Key responsibilities include managing and supporting Oracle Database, Oracle Applications, and Fusion Middleware/WebLogic environments. This involves implementing and coordinating changes across infrastructure, database, middleware, and application layers. Installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware in various environments are essential.

You will support highly available Oracle environments across multiple data centers, including RAC and Active Data Guard. Experience with multi-node application environments, Oracle Applications 11i/R12 administration, and upgrades to 19c are crucial. Hands-on experience with Fusion Middleware products like SOA and OBIEE, along with Identity Management and OAM, is required.

Configure and administer JDBC, JMS, and SSL. Deploy and migrate applications using WebLogic Console and WLST. Implement and support Disaster Recovery solutions. Optimize performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate operational activities using Python and shell scripting.

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and Docker containers is expected. Manage planned downtime and restore services within SLAs, perform capacity management, and provide proactive support for mission-critical environments.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Applications, Database, and/or Fusion Middleware administration. A strong background in infrastructure installation, configuration, administration, and production support for Oracle Fusion Middleware/WebLogic and Oracle Applications environments is essential.

Candidates should possess a blend of Apps DBA and Fusion Middleware skills, with deep expertise in at least one area and solid working knowledge of the other. A BE/MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

Excellent communication, coordination, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills are vital. The ability to work independently in customer-facing, mission-critical settings is a must. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also important.

Flexibility to work in 24x7 shifts and weekends as needed is required. An OCI certification is considered an added advantage. Experience with Oracle Database upgrades to 19c and application/middleware platform upgrades is necessary. Expertise in cloud platforms and migrating on-premises Oracle environments to OCI is highly valued.
