Oracle is seeking a skilled Oracle Apps DBA & Fusion Middleware Administrator to join our team in Mumbai. This role involves managing and supporting critical Oracle environments, ensuring high availability and performance. You will be instrumental in infrastructure installation, configuration, and production support, focusing on Oracle Fusion Middleware/WebLogic and Oracle Applications.

Key responsibilities include managing and supporting Oracle Database, Oracle Applications, and Fusion Middleware/WebLogic environments. You will implement and coordinate changes across all infrastructure layers, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware in various environments.

A significant part of the role involves supporting highly available Oracle environments across multiple data centers, utilizing technologies like RAC and Active Data Guard. You will also support multi-node application environments, manage deployments, and configure/troubleshoot critical components such as JDBC, JMS, and SSL.

Experience with Oracle Applications 11i/R12, database upgrades to 19c, and cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is crucial. Automation using Python and shell scripting, along with strong Linux/Unix administration skills, is essential for simplifying management and proactive problem-solving. You will be responsible for managing planned downtimes, restoring services within SLAs, and performing capacity management and performance analysis.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5–6 years of relevant hands-on experience in Oracle Applications, Database, and/or Fusion Middleware administration. A strong background in infrastructure installation, configuration, administration, and production support, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Middleware/WebLogic and Oracle Applications environments, is essential.

Candidates must possess a BE/MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Excellent communication, coordination, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to work independently and effectively in customer-facing, mission-critical environments, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, is a must.

This role requires a willingness to work in 24x7 shifts and weekends as needed. An OCI certification is considered an added advantage. Experience with Disaster Recovery solutions, RYSNC synchronization, WebLogic patching, performance optimization, and troubleshooting are also highly valued. Familiarity with Docker containers and orchestration technologies is beneficial.
