The ideal candidate will possess profound expertise in OpenText Exstream (versions 11.x to 23.x), robust system integration capabilities, and a deep understanding of modern document collaboration platforms. This role requires a strong grasp of the document lifecycle, effective template design, and various output methods, coupled with experience in both batch and on-demand processing. Proficiency in other scripting languages is considered a valuable asset.

This senior consultant role involves leading the architectural design and enterprise-wide strategy for OpenText CCM solutions. Responsibilities include designing integration architectures that seamlessly connect Exstream Server with external systems via REST, SOAP, and message queues. You will develop secure, scalable applications, APIs, workflows, and automation tools. Key duties also encompass leading proof-of-concept initiatives, conducting technical assessments, mentoring development teams, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Coordination with infrastructure teams for deployment and operational support is also integral to this position.

A minimum of 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Exstream development and implementation projects is essential, with at least 2 years dedicated to scripting. Extensive experience in system integrations, including REST, SOAP, and middleware, is crucial, alongside proven skills in Document Server integration. Strong programming proficiency in Java and JavaScript is required. Candidates should be well-versed in enterprise integration patterns, API gateways, and message brokers like RabbitMQ and Kafka. Familiarity with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is expected. Database expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL is necessary. Experience in designing and developing high-volume, on-demand applications using OpenText Exstream, including data mapping, page design, output queues, flow tables, and PDF pass-through, is paramount. Comprehensive knowledge of Exstream object configuration and customization at multiple levels, along with experience in print and assembly rules, bar codes, and variable data tags, is required. Proficiency in data processing and post-composition document processing using Exstream is a must, along with experience handling various input formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and output formats (PDF, AFP, EMAIL, HTML). Experience with search keys, placeholders, tag sets, design layers, language layers, campaigns, and messages is also expected. A working knowledge of print streams like DLF, Empower, AFP, and PostScript, coupled with solid design, coding, testing, and debugging skills, is essential. Unix scripting and basic Java knowledge are also required.
