This role focuses on developing and implementing solutions within the Opcenter MES (Manufacturing Execution System) domain, requiring a strong background in enterprise software and manufacturing environments.

Develop and extend Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete implementations. Design and implement object-oriented solutions using C#/.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio. Develop and maintain services, ensuring production-quality code. Leverage hands-on knowledge of Opcenter architecture, domain modeling, and extension mechanisms. Manage transactions, deployment, and configuration effectively. Write and optimize SQL queries for SQL Server or Oracle, including schema understanding and troubleshooting. Integrate systems using modern API and integration technologies like REST, OData, SOAP, JSON, and XML. Work with modern web technologies, with React being essential for this program. Apply practical understanding of discrete manufacturing execution processes, including work-order lifecycle, WIP, and material traceability. Utilize source control, CI/CD, defect management, and code review practices. Communicate effectively with distributed technical teams and customer stakeholders.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is required; equivalent experience will be considered. Possess at least 7 years of experience in enterprise or manufacturing software development, with recent hands-on experience in Siemens Opcenter Execution Discrete implementations or extensions. Demonstrate strong C#/.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio skills, encompassing object-oriented design, service development, debugging, and production-level coding. Exhibit hands-on expertise with Opcenter architecture, domain modeling, extension capabilities, transaction management, and deployment. Proficient in SQL, working with SQL Server or Oracle, including schema knowledge, stored procedures, query optimization, and data analysis. Experience with integration technologies such as REST/OData, SOAP, JSON, XML, and various authentication methods is essential. Proficiency in modern web technologies, particularly React, is mandatory; prior experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and AngularJS is beneficial. Solid understanding of discrete manufacturing execution processes, including work-order management, WIP tracking, material handling, and quality control. Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, defect tracking, code reviews, and release management, ideally with Azure DevOps. Excellent English communication skills for collaborating with global teams and clients, with a willingness to travel internationally to Denmark and on-site plant locations.
