Evaluate control designs and operating effectiveness, identifying and escalating issues as needed. Ensure all control assessments are accurate, effective, compliant with policies, and delivered on time. Conduct comprehensive testing of controls, system architecture, operating systems, databases, networks, security systems, cloud services, and asset inventories. Perform specialized assessments including Cyber Maturity, Privacy, Cloud Controls, and regulatory reviews (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, NIST). Utilize expertise to guide testing, resolve escalations, and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
Apply risk management principles to identify findings and provide actionable insights for process improvement and risk mitigation. Review IT policies and standards against industry benchmarks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering strong relationships on IT security and GRC projects. Stay abreast of regulatory standards and industry best practices, promoting awareness across the enterprise. Maintain familiarity with key IT industry frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
We seek a Manager with at least 7 years of experience in IT Risk and Assurance. Candidates should possess a Graduate degree in CS/IT, Electronics, or Electronics & Telecommunications, or a Master's degree (MBA/M.Sc.). Essential experience includes applying technical knowledge to ISO or NIST assessments, data privacy audits, network and infrastructure audits, cyber maturity assessments, IT policies and standards reviews, IAM, IT Asset Management, or IT Health Checks.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of complex information systems and their application to client situations. You should demonstrate excellent project management skills, the ability to inspire teamwork, and proficiency in utilizing current technology tools. A strong grasp of program and project management practices, along with familiarity with IT system development lifecycles, is also highly desirable. Bring commercial acumen, technical expertise, and a passion for learning in this rapidly evolving field.
