As a Manager within the EY-Assurance team, you will serve as the primary point of contact from GDS for assigned tasks from global client-serving assurance teams. You'll be accountable for the quality and timeliness of deliverables while overseeing the day-to-day operations of client engagements.

Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates to support a portfolio of engagements, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery aligned with EY methodology. You will develop strong relationships with engagement teams in the Americas and Europe, embedding EY's Risk Management procedures into project work.

Transition new engagements and services to GDS Assurance, maintaining superior service quality. Proactively manage workflows, allocate resources, and monitor performance against standards and budgets. Foster a positive work culture by leading by example, delegating effectively, and developing high-performing teams through timely feedback and development opportunities.

Contribute to organizational initiatives such as recruitment and training, and actively participate in technical and soft-skills development for team members. Standardize assurance processes, leverage best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement within GDS Assurance.

We are seeking qualified accountants with strong leadership capabilities. Essential qualifications include being a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience, or a Qualified ACCA/CPA with 7-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Articleship with top or mid-tier accounting firms is highly desirable.

Experience within a mid- or top-tier accounting firm, focusing on external or assurance reviews, or with MNCs or large Indian companies, preferably in a Shared Service Environment, is a significant advantage. Expertise in Indian accounting and assurance standards is required. Knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, or International assurance standards is a plus.

Successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written English communication, effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills. Strong project management, leadership, coaching, counselling, and supervisory abilities are crucial. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is expected. The ability to foster positive work culture and live EY values is paramount.
