Manage the quality of service delivery, ensuring fieldwork progress and timely client communication. Explain critical success factors to engagement teams and collaborate daily with onshore teams to deliver exceptional client service. Apply accounting concepts and professional standards to complex client situations, identifying and researching engagement issues. Exercise independent professional judgment in applying accounting standards and coordinate with technical accounting teams on US GAAP and IFRS pronouncements.
Lead project management for transactions, ensuring smooth information flow and coordination with cross-functional teams. Customize presentations for specific acquisition attributes and manage corporate finance transactions from pitches to closing. Oversee task execution, including decision-making, process optimization, and team management, ensuring team success and performance evaluation.
Possess a strong understanding of IFRS/US/UK GAAP, GAAP Conversion, and International Auditing Standards. Demonstrate expertise in project management within finance functions and conduct data analysis and research on accounting standards. Prepare comprehensive documentation for conversion processes and resolve discrepancies effectively. Prior experience in GAAP conversion engagements (IFRS to US GAAP and vice versa) is essential, along with implementation knowledge of new accounting standards like IFRS 15/ASC 606 and IFRS 16/ASC 842.
Ideal candidates have hands-on consulting experience at a Big 4 or top-tier firm and hold a Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK) qualification. The role requires 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in Assurance, with at least 1 year in Financial Accounting and Advisory. Fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and the ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues are crucial. Flexibility for travel on short notice is also required.
