As part of the EY-Assurance Team, you will perform routine substantive and controls-based procedures from our India Global Delivery Services (GDS) offices, supporting global client-serving assurance teams, primarily in the Americas and Europe. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work virtually or directly with engagement teams across continents, developing expertise in international accounting and assurance principles.

Deliver the highest quality on all assigned tasks, adhering to EY Global review methodology and engagement team expectations. Demonstrate a foundational understanding of your assigned industry or sector, recognizing technical issues and assurance risks. Execute and document specific review procedures as directed by engagement teams. Cultivate knowledge in risk management, including understanding significant business processes, relevant regulations, and client-specific risks. Identify accounting issues promptly, document facts and findings clearly, and discuss with your GDS senior or Assistant Manager. Collaborate with GDS seniors and global team members to define goals and responsibilities. Maintain regular interaction with global engagement teams, fostering productive working relationships. Contribute innovative ideas for enhancing review procedure efficiency across clients. Promote a positive team environment through consistent commitment and optimism. Uphold EY’s ethical and professional standards, ensuring data confidentiality. Develop proficiency with EY technology and tools to foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing, thereby improving service delivery.

To be considered, you must be a B.Com graduate with a fundamental understanding of accounting and assurance concepts. We require 0-1 years of relevant experience in basic accounting.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office is highly desirable. An interest in business and commercial operations is also beneficial for this role.
