As a Senior Network Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide advanced support for complex network incidents across LAN and WAN environments. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing routing and switching solutions, as well as administering F5 load balancing technologies.

You will also participate in network deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. Collaboration with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams is crucial for successful project delivery. Owning and documenting escalated support tickets via ServiceNow, ensuring compliance with standards, and participating in root cause analysis and performance monitoring are also key aspects of this role.

An on-call rotation is required to support our 24x7 production environment. Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills are essential for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

A minimum of 8 years of experience managing enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructures is required. Extensive hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies in large enterprise settings is essential.

Strong expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, is necessary. Direct experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting F5 Load Balancers is mandatory.

Candidates must possess strong network troubleshooting methodologies, performance optimization skills, and experience supporting mission-critical production environments. Familiarity with ITIL and Change Management processes, along with excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, are expected. Preferred qualifications include experience with Cisco and Aruba solutions, wireless environments, Riverbed technologies, and Cisco Nexus platforms.
