Engage in daily operations, handling requests, changes, incidents, and problem records for customer network security environments. Implement and support network security solutions, including Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, and cloud proxy solutions like Netskope. You will leverage expert knowledge of Palo Alto features, troubleshoot issues using packet captures and debugs, and provide technical escalation. The role involves writing custom queries for reporting, providing 24x7 on-call support, ensuring Service Level Agreements are met, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include conducting system maintenance, checkups, and developing resolution plans for device issues. You will also propose service, process, and technical improvements. This position requires assisting in daily steady-state operations, change management, and participating in a weekly on-call rotation. Health status checks across security platforms and working with multiple customer support environments for upgrades and patches are key duties. You will assist in rule set reviews to enhance customer security footprints and detect/manage security issues until closure.

A minimum of 12 years of experience in Network Security administration is required, with at least 7 years in Network & Security administration. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Prisma, and Fortinet is essential. You must demonstrate the ability to grasp complex issues and arrive at optimal solutions, coupled with strong ethics and integrity.

Excellent customer-facing communication skills and a solid understanding of ITIL best practices are necessary. We are looking for an experienced architect with proven knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto), F5, Prisma SASE, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and switching technologies. Familiarity with authentication protocols like LDAP, IWA, IWA-direct, SSO, and Active Directory is crucial. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, and at least two mid-level vendor certifications in network security (e.g., CCNP Security, PCNSE) are expected.
