This role focuses on advanced network security, specifically leveraging microsegmentation and Zero Trust principles. The ideal candidate will translate business objectives into robust enterprise IT security requirements and conceptual designs. They will develop and maintain a strategic network and security architecture roadmap, ensuring secure, high-performing, and resilient global environments.

The position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and the ability to implement cutting-edge solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping HPE's global network security posture and driving innovation in security architecture.

Architect and implement microsegmentation strategies across diverse environments to restrict lateral movement and enforce least-privilege access. Design and operationalize Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles, integrating identity, application, and network policy enforcement. Collaborate with application owners to map dependencies for policy-driven segmentation and define granular security policies using label/tag-based approaches.

Lead the adoption of microsegmentation platforms and develop governance models. Participate in security design reviews, analyze business requirements for security implementation, and provide risk metrics and control effectiveness tracking. Conduct security audits, stay updated on emerging threats, and manage SIEM systems.

A minimum of 7 to 11 years of experience in network security, with a strong emphasis on microsegmentation using tools like Guardicore or Illumio. Proven ability to develop and support comprehensive security solutions aligned with global strategies. Experience in architecting and implementing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as CIS and NIST is essential.

Skills include designing security across data centers, campus networks, and hybrid environments, managing SIEM systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with cloud-native controls and integrating microsegmentation with various security tools is also required.
