We are looking for a dedicated individual to manage and enhance our clients' network security environments. As part of an inclusive and adaptable team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring robust security measures and operational excellence.

This position involves managing Requests, Changes, Incidents, and Problems to support customer network security. You will implement and provide operational support for Network Security solutions, with a focus on Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cloud Proxy technologies like Netskope.

Key duties include expert-level configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto firewalls, deep understanding of App-ID and packet capture analysis, and providing technical escalation to L2 engineers. You will also develop custom queries for reporting and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for high-severity incidents. Ensuring SLA adherence, performing system maintenance, and proposing service improvements are also vital aspects of this role.

Additional responsibilities encompass assisting with daily steady-state operations, conducting health status checks, supporting multiple customer environments through upgrades and patches, and reviewing rule sets to enhance security footprints. Detecting and managing security issues through to resolution is paramount.

We require a candidate with a minimum of 12 years of Network Security administration experience and a strong track record in network troubleshooting. Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto, Prisma, and Fortinet firewalls is essential.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, customer-facing abilities, and a solid understanding of ITIL best practices. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is necessary. Expertise in firewalls, F5, Prisma SASE, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and switching technologies is highly desirable.

Familiarity with authentication protocols like LDAP, IWA, SSO, and Active Directory is expected. Possession of at least two mid-level network security certifications from vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet is required. Strong time management and problem-solving skills are critical for success in this role.
