As a Network Infrastructure Deployment Manager within AWS, you will oversee construction projects and DWDM network rollouts, managing scope, timeline, and budget. You will ensure adherence to defined standards through quality audits and remediation.
Responsibilities include understanding metro fiber markets, driving scaling designs, and interfacing with data center providers for equipment and circuit installations. You will create detailed network planning packs for scalable infrastructure and manage risks, providing status reviews to management. Developing strategic partnerships and understanding network operations are also key duties.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field is required, coupled with 5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience, including network construction or program management in a telecom setting.
Essential skills include expertise in fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing, and troubleshooting. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective English communication are crucial. Familiarity with software development practices, data center/infrastructure/networking technologies, and transport technologies like Fiber and DWDM is also necessary.
