Join NTT DATA as a Network Engineering Advisor, a pivotal role focused on the daily maintenance and operations of critical network security infrastructure. This position involves hands-on work with leading security products, ensuring robust protection for our clients.

As an advisor, you will design, configure, and troubleshoot complex traffic flows and security implementations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high-level network security services for multiple customers, requiring independent problem-solving and efficient escalation when necessary.

Manage network security environments by addressing requests, changes, incidents, and problems. Implement and provide operational support for network security solutions, including Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, and Netskope cloud proxy solutions.

Leverage expert knowledge in Palo Alto features like URL filtering, vulnerability protection, AV, and anti-spyware profiles. Utilize App-ID and app filters effectively. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills using packet captures and debugs on Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.

Provide technical escalation to L2 engineers, write custom Palo Alto queries for reporting, and offer 24x7 on-call support for high-severity incidents. Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and operational standards, perform system maintenance, and maintain documentation. Propose service, process, and technical improvements.

A minimum of 12 years of experience in Network Security administration is required, with at least 7 years in Network & Security administration. Possess hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Prisma, and Fortinet. Strong troubleshooting skills for Palo Alto firewalls and a solid understanding of template/stack architecture are essential.

Familiarity with authentication protocols such as LDAP, IWA, IWA-direct, SSO, and Active Directory is crucial. Candidates should hold at least two mid-level network security certifications from vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet (e.g., CCNP Security, PCNSE).

Excellent communication, customer support, and time management skills are necessary. Experience with Cisco, AWS, EIGRP, BGP networking, and F5 is a must. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
