EY is seeking a skilled Network Engineer specializing in WAN to join our Global Connectivity Solutions (GCS) team. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our enterprise WAN infrastructure through vulnerability remediation, software lifecycle management, and firmware upgrades.

Key responsibilities include supporting vulnerability remediation for Versa SD-WAN and Cisco platforms, executing software and firmware upgrades on critical network devices, and managing the software lifecycle for Cisco routing/switching and Versa SD-WAN infrastructure.

Responsibilities also involve troubleshooting Versa SD-WAN overlays, underlays, routing protocols, and WAN link issues. You will diagnose and resolve complex network problems, participate in incident recovery and problem management, and contribute to WAN modernization initiatives.

Additionally, you will prepare and maintain detailed implementation procedures, collaborate with vendors and carriers, and identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements. Accurate progress updates and timely escalation of technical risks are essential.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and have 3-6 years of experience in enterprise WAN network engineering, SD-WAN, or related network technology support. A strong working knowledge of Versa SD-WAN and Cisco routing/switching technologies is essential.

Proficiency in troubleshooting WAN links, ISP circuits, SD-WAN fabric health, and data center interconnects is required. Experience with vulnerability remediation, configuration changes, and lifecycle management activities is expected.
