As a Network Development Engineer, you will drive the automation of network device deployments using infrastructure as code with tools like CDK and Python. You'll be instrumental in automating network infrastructure across all fabrics supporting AWS services.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining the next generation of security/edge networks using cloud-based technologies such as AWS CloudWAN, Transit Gateway, and NAT Gateways. You will deploy, scale, and automate our network across numerous office and CPOP locations, managing both existing and new footprints.

Collaborate closely with automation teams to define platforms and frameworks for unparalleled scaling. You'll also create and review comprehensive documentation and processes for network implementation, deployments, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer. Leading design, network/code, and security reviews will be essential to identify risks and prevent pre-production bugs.

We are seeking individuals with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, possessing at least one year of experience with major internet routing protocols. Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl is essential.

Experience with IP networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and DHCP is required. Familiarity with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration is beneficial. Preferred qualifications include knowledge in areas like web application development, penetration testing, mobile security, cryptography, and various network security domains.
