As a Network Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and building innovative, multi-vendor data connectivity solutions that support Amazon’s global expansion. You will drive the scaling of current network designs to meet increasing customer demands and collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on design efforts and system support.

Key responsibilities include automating network device deployments using infrastructure-as-code (CDK, Python), ensuring fast and smooth roll-outs of new designs and products, and sustaining networking software tools. You will also be responsible for creating and reviewing technical documentation, process improvements, and leading design and security reviews to proactively identify risks.

This role requires a solid foundation in IT security and a strong understanding of major internet routing protocols, with at least two years of experience in each. Experience in managing security products such as ISE Firewall and VPN is preferred.
