Amazon is seeking experienced Network Development Engineers to join the Enterprise Network Deployment team. This role is crucial for scaling and automating the deployment of one of the world's largest and most complex networks.

The Enterprise Network is fundamental to Amazon's operations, providing global connectivity for internal services, business applications, and over a million internal users. You will contribute to shaping next-generation network architectures through innovation and automation.

This position offers the opportunity to work within AWS Infrastructure, designing and automating the deployment and growth of cutting-edge networking products deployed across global AWS data centers.

- Deploy and manage network infrastructure across various network fabrics supporting both Amazon Retail and AWS services. - Scale and automate network deployments across numerous global data centers, encompassing existing and new locations. - Identify opportunities for automation, developing tools and solutions to enhance scaling velocity and quality. - Streamline and improve existing deployment processes, creating simple and repeatable workflows. - Collaborate with internal customers to transform network designs and solutions from concept to production. - Develop and maintain network standards, ensuring all deployments adhere to these guidelines. - Partner with automation teams to define scalable platforms and frameworks capable of handling immense volume.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience with major internet routing protocols. - A strong background of over 4 years working within Linux/Unix environments. - Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proven project management and time management capabilities. - A track record of designing scalable solutions and effectively troubleshooting complex network issues. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Preferred Qualifications: - At least 1 year of experience in automation scripting using languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl.
