Lead the definition and roadmap for scalable data platforms supporting finance transformation programs, ensuring secure, high-performance cloud-native solutions. Establish architecture standards and best practices for data ingestion, processing, and consumption, driving adoption of modern data technologies and AI-enabled solutions. Partner with DevOps for CI/CD and release management, and manage platform incident resolution.

Implement scalable delivery operating models leveraging Agile, DevOps, and SRE. Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure platform reliability and scalability, driving continuous improvement in engineering productivity and quality. Embed data governance, compliance, security, and quality standards into all platform operations.

Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams of data engineers, architects, and DevOps professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Drive workforce planning and capability development, mentoring team members in technical excellence and stakeholder engagement.

Collaborate with business leaders and clients to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions, acting as a bridge between business and technology. Support solution design, proposals, and client discussions, effectively communicating program progress and value realization to executive stakeholders.

Champion a product-centric approach to platform development, focusing on scalability and reusability to industrialize solutions. Enable advanced analytics and AI-driven insights to maximize value from finance data.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required, coupled with 12-18 years of progressive experience in data engineering, platform architecture, and delivery leadership. Proven experience leading large-scale engineering teams within enterprise environments is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, with a deep understanding of data architecture patterns like data lakes, data warehouses, and lakehouse implementations. Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, DBT) and knowledge of API-driven architectures and integration frameworks are crucial.

Possess a strong understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements. A proven track record of delivering large-scale data and transformation programs, including experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and SRE practices, is vital. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and governance capabilities are expected, alongside the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. A strong ownership mindset focused on delivering measurable business outcomes is key.

Knowledge of corporate finance processes such as P2P, O2C, R2R, and FP&A, as well as experience supporting finance transformation or analytics platforms, is highly desirable. Ideally, candidates will have experience delivering solutions within professional services or consulting environments and exposure to AI/ML-enabled analytics platforms.
