As a Motion Designer at Emergent, you will be instrumental in shaping our brand's visual identity across product, marketing, and overall brand presence. Your primary focus will be to translate complex AI workflows into easily digestible and engaging animated content, including explainers and visual stories.

You will be responsible for creating compelling launch videos, product demonstrations, social media content, and advertisements. Additionally, you will design dynamic product micro-interactions and transitions that enhance the user experience, making our platform feel responsive and engaging. Collaborating closely with design, product, engineering, and growth teams, you will ensure the timely delivery of high-quality visual assets and contribute to the development and consistent application of Emergent's unique motion design language.

We are looking for a Motion Designer with a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience and a robust portfolio showcasing shipped work. A strong command of After Effects is essential, complemented by proficiency in tools such as Rive, Lottie, Figma, Cinema 4D, or Blender.

You should possess a solid understanding of animation principles, timing, typography, and general visual design. The ability to distill abstract or technical concepts into clear, engaging visuals is key. This role requires comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment, managing multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality.

Excellent communication skills and sound creative judgment are vital. We seek individuals with a high sense of ownership, demonstrating a deep commitment to the quality of work delivered. Experience with UI animation for web or mobile products and a foundational understanding of code (CSS/JS animation, Framer, Three.js), or a genuine interest in exploring these areas, would be advantageous.
