Define and drive middleware architecture, platform integration, and feature development for automotive infotainment. Collaborate with OEMs, chipset vendors, and Tier-1 suppliers to deliver scalable audio and navigation solutions. Lead the architecture, design, development, and integration of audio and navigation middleware stacks for Android Automotive and Embedded Linux. Drive end-to-end development of automotive audio features, including media playback and multi-zone audio. Architect and integrate Audio HAL, DSP interfaces, and audio processing pipelines. Lead integration of navigation systems, map services, and vehicle positioning. Design interfaces between applications, Android framework, middleware, HALs, and hardware. Support platform bring-up and feature enablement on new infotainment hardware. Troubleshoot and resolve complex audio and navigation issues. Optimize system performance, including boot time, memory, and power consumption. Lead architecture, design, and code reviews. Mentor engineering teams and establish best practices. Drive root-cause analysis for customer-reported issues. Collaborate on customer engagements and technical proposals.
15+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development and Automotive Infotainment. Strong expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and/or Embedded Linux. Deep understanding of middleware architecture, design, and integration. Proficiency in C++, Shell Scripting, Android Framework, System Services, HAL, Binder IPC, HIDL, and AIDL. Experience with automotive SoCs like Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, TI, or Samsung Exynos Auto. Proven technical leadership, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills. A Bachelor's degree is required for this role.
