Join Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, and contribute to innovative automotive programs. As a Middleware Stack Integration SME, you will drive the architecture, platform integration, and feature development for camera and connectivity domains.

This role involves close collaboration with OEMs, chipset vendors, and Tier-1 suppliers to deliver high-performance infotainment solutions. You'll shape the future of connected vehicle platforms and digital cockpits, working with cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and development of camera and connectivity middleware stacks for Android Automotive and Embedded Linux. Define reusable software components and integration strategies across vehicle programs. Drive end-to-end development of camera solutions like RVC, SVS, DMS, and CMS. Architect and integrate camera HAL, video pipelines, and multimedia processing. Lead the development of connectivity solutions including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. Design middleware interfaces and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Support platform bring-up, feature enablement, and resolve complex integration issues. Optimize performance for camera latency, connectivity throughput, and system stability. Conduct architecture and design reviews, and mentor engineering teams. Drive root-cause analysis for customer issues and production defects. Collaborate with vehicle networking teams for seamless integration. Support pre-sales activities and provide technical solutions for RFPs.

Qualifications

A seasoned professional with over 15 years in Embedded Software Development and Automotive Infotainment is sought.

Essential expertise includes deep knowledge of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and/or Embedded Linux, coupled with a strong command of C and C++.

Proficiency in Android Framework, System Services, HAL, Binder IPC, HIDL, and AIDL is required.

Experience with major automotive SoCs from vendors like Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas, TI, Samsung Exynos Auto, or MediaTek is crucial.

Candidates should possess strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills.

Familiarity with ASPICE, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, and SDLC is highly valued.
