EY is seeking a Senior Manager for Sales Support within the Consulting division. This role is crucial for driving Consulting growth by supporting sales pursuits, proposal execution, and commercial analysis. You will collaborate closely with leadership, account teams, and solution experts to enhance pursuit effectiveness, ensure deal quality, and maintain pipeline discipline.

Drive end-to-end sales pursuits for consulting opportunities, from qualification and proposal development to pricing and approvals. Shape deal strategies, solution positioning, and client value propositions in partnership with pursuit leaders. Maintain rigorous discipline in pipeline tracking, win probability updates, and pursuit milestones. Manage and coordinate RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and client presentations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, finance, legal, risk, and delivery, to ensure timely and compliant submissions. Consolidate inputs, track dependencies, and align scope, commercials, and delivery approaches. Support the creation of pricing models, effort estimates, margin analysis, and financial summaries for consulting deals. Assist in preparing business cases, deal review materials, and approval documentation. Analyze deal economics, identify commercial risks, assumptions, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure adherence to sales governance, review checkpoints, and approval workflows. Support the maintenance of sales support templates, trackers, and standard documentation. Identify process gaps and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales support operations. Serve as a primary working-level contact for account teams and pursuit stakeholders, providing clear, structured updates on pursuit status, risks, and next steps. Support leadership in pipeline reviews, forecast updates, and performance reporting. Mentor Senior Consultants and Consultants within the sales support team, sharing best practices. Contribute to knowledge assets, playbooks, and reusable pursuit collateral.

A minimum of 15 years of experience in consulting sales support, pursuit management, commercial advisory, or similar roles is required. Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting medium to large consulting deals across technology, data, digital, or transformation programs. Experience working within a global or matrixed consulting environment is highly preferred. A strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is essential for this role. Core competencies include a thorough understanding of the consulting sales lifecycle and proposal processes, working knowledge of pricing, effort estimation, and commercial constructs, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, client-ready deliverables. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills are vital. Behaviorally, you should be detail-oriented with strong execution discipline, comfortable operating in fast-paced, deadline-driven pursuit environments, a collaborative team player with emerging leadership capabilities, and uphold high standards of quality, compliance, and professionalism. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with an MBA or equivalent considered an advantage.
