Lead the technical design and development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions, focusing on POS systems and B2C/B2B websites. Configure and extend Store Commerce, Hardware Station, and integrate peripherals. Develop custom POS functionalities using Commerce SDK, Online SDK, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, and .NET Core. Implement critical integrations between POS and backend systems. Design and maintain robust offline-first POS architecture, ensuring performance and scalability.

Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into detailed technical designs. Utilize Azure DevOps and LCS for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management. Support system testing, performance tuning, and deployment activities. Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. Provide Level 3 support post-go-live to resolve issues and ensure smooth store operations. Oversee decision-making, process optimization, resource management, and team supervision to achieve organizational goals.

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in D365 Commerce technical roles is essential, including at least three full-cycle D365 F&O implementations within Commerce domains. Strong domain knowledge of Retail, eCommerce, and the D365 Site builder tool is required. You should possess excellent analytical and debugging skills with a keen focus on performance and reliability. Experience with implementation methodologies such as Microsoft SureStep, Agile, or hybrid approaches is expected.

Proficiency in working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders is crucial. Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI), Azure, and related Microsoft technologies is highly beneficial. Ideal candidates will also have experience with industry-specific retail practices, compliance requirements, and a proven ability to lead discovery workshops and mentor junior consultants. A proactive, collaborative mindset suited for a fast-paced global environment is key.
