Seeking a seasoned Navision SCM Consultant for a managed services role. This position focuses on providing ongoing functional support and continuous improvement for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central Supply Chain Management modules. The consultant will ensure the smooth operation of critical areas like procurement, inventory, warehousing, planning, sales orders, and logistics.
Ideal candidates possess extensive hands-on NAV/Business Central functional knowledge, a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, and experience thriving in an SLA-driven support environment. This is an opportunity to contribute to the stability and enhancement of key business operations.
Deliver Level 2 and 3 functional support for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central Supply Chain modules, efficiently managing incidents, service requests, and defects within agreed SLAs.
Configure, maintain, and support diverse supply chain processes, including purchasing, sales orders, inventory, item master, warehouse management, planning, and light manufacturing.
Address issues related to inventory discrepancies, stock valuation, reservations, and posting errors. Support inventory planning and warehouse transactions, including put-aways, picks, shipments, and cycle counts.
Collaborate with developers and integration teams on customizations, interfaces, EDI, and barcode scanning. Conduct impact analysis, coordinate functional testing, and validate production deployments.
Develop functional specifications, create test scenarios, and document configurations, knowledge articles, and user guides. Provide user training and guidance on best practices.
A minimum of 5 years of functional consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central is required.
Demonstrated strong expertise in NAV/Business Central supply chain and logistics processes, covering purchasing, sales order processing, inventory, warehousing, and planning is essential.
Hands-on experience with core configurations such as item setup, locations, bins, item tracking, reservations, vendor/item relationships, and posting setups is crucial.
Practical understanding of warehouse operations, inbound/outbound processing, stock movements, and inventory controls is necessary.
Previous experience in a managed services, production support, or SLA-based application support setting is highly valued.
Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills are expected, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
