NTT DATA is seeking a talented Messaging Services Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, India. This role focuses on managing and supporting email and collaboration infrastructure, including M365 services like Exchange Online and Microsoft Purview.

This position involves providing steady-state support, handling on-call duties, and resolving critical issues, upgrades, and maintenance. A customer-centric approach, strong communication skills, and flexibility to work in shifts are essential for this role. You'll work on complex problems, integrate data for recommendations, and provide advanced technical support.

Provide expert support for M365 services, including Exchange Online and Microsoft Purview administration, resolving complex technical challenges.

Focus on data governance, security, and compliance within Microsoft 365, managing data classification, sensitivity labeling, DLP, and insider risk management.

Configure and fine-tune anti-phishing, anti-spam, and anti-malware policies in Defender for Office 365.

Maintain and secure the M365 environment, ensuring it is up-to-date and compliant. Monitor, maintain, and optimize system performance.

Implement robust security measures and ensure adherence to data protection and privacy regulations.

Document configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures, generating performance and security reports.

Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance M365 service efficiency and user experience.

Collaborate with other teams for seamless integration and provide training to junior IT staff.

Utilize ITSM tools for request, incident, change, and problem management. Handle on-call responsibilities and complex escalations.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Exchange Online and Microsoft Purview administration.

Demonstrated technical knowledge in data governance, security, and compliance, particularly in M365 environments.

Experience configuring and managing security policies in Defender for Office 365.

Proficiency with ITSM tools for comprehensive IT service management.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

A Microsoft 365 certification is preferred but not mandatory.
