This role involves managing malware and phishing defenses using Cisco Talos and AMP. You will fine-tune connection and reputation filtering, and configure outbreak rules for zero-day threats. Implement custom content filters and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to safeguard sensitive information.

Key duties include enforcing domain security through SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. You'll conduct message tracking, manage quarantines, and monitor sender ecosystems using Valimail tools. System performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and incident response are also integral to this position. Collaboration with IT security and infrastructure teams is essential for maintaining optimal email security.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess at least 4 years of experience with Proofpoint Email Security Solutions and strong hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Email and Valimail.

Proficiency in email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) is necessary. A solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices is expected.
