NTT DATA is seeking a skilled Messaging Services Senior Specialist to enhance our email security infrastructure. This role involves managing advanced threat defense, connection filtering, and content security measures. You will be instrumental in protecting our organization from evolving cyber threats and ensuring the integrity of our communication channels.

Manage malware and phishing defense using Cisco Talos and AMP.

Adjust connection and reputation filtering parameters to block malicious attempts. Configure outbreak filters and create custom content filters for enhanced security.

Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to safeguard sensitive information. Enforce domain security standards like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

Utilize message tracking and analytics for reporting and incident investigation. Manage quarantine, review Valimail reports, and monitor system performance.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for security incidents. Manage configurations, upgrades, and patching for Cisco Secure Email and Valimail.

Collaborate with IT security, compliance, and infrastructure teams. Develop and update technical documentation and SOPs.

Participate in security audits, incident response, and threat investigations. Coordinate with vendors for health checks and recommendations.

Provide expert advice and support 24x7 operations, including US business hours and weekends. Handle failed components and implement corrective measures.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

This role demands a minimum of 5 years of experience with Proofpoint Email Security Solutions. Strong practical experience with Cisco Secure Email and Valimail is essential.

Proficiency in email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3) and authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) is necessary. A solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and general security best practices is also critical.
