This pivotal role combines deep technical expertise in application packaging with leadership capabilities. You will drive complex packaging programs, establish tooling and automation standards, mentor junior team members, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for enterprise application packaging across our global client base.

Lead enterprise application packaging programs, defining scope, methodology, and timelines for large-scale projects. Architect the packaging platform, including tool configuration, standards, and quality gate processes. Define and govern the packaging factory model for efficient intake, packaging, testing, and deployment. Evaluate and recommend appropriate packaging tools such as AdminStudio, Advanced Installer, MSIX Packaging Tool, App-V, and PSF. Spearhead MSIX migration programs, assessing portfolios and defining conversion strategies. Manage complex packaging scenarios, including multi-instance applications and custom MSI authoring with WiX Toolset. Design and implement PSF-based MSIX fixup frameworks and App-V connection group strategies. Develop and integrate CI/CD packaging pipelines using Azure DevOps and Graph API automation for Intune and SCCM. Mentor and provide technical guidance to packaging engineers, acting as an L3 escalation point. Engage with clients to define packaging standards, deployment strategies, and present program status and metrics.

Demonstrated expertise in enterprise application packaging, including MSI, MSIX, App-V, and .intunewin formats. Advanced proficiency with the WiX Toolset for custom MSI authoring, custom actions, and UI customization. Experience with MSIX and PSF for large-scale portfolio migration and compatibility analysis. Strong command of AdminStudio/Flexera, including repackager, editor, and tuner modules. Proficiency in Intune and SCCM deployment engineering, including Graph API automation and CI/CD integration. Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, packaging pipelines, and SDK integration. Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and deployment. Deep understanding of application compatibility, including ACT, PSF, shims, and Windows 10/11 analysis.
