Seeking a skilled Messaging Services Advisor to provide expert maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for server-side configurations and integrations. This role focuses on ensuring high availability for server roles, Exchange Online, hybrid environments, mail flow, client access, and security.

You will be instrumental in managing and administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Exchange On-Premises, and Microsoft Teams. Staying abreast of the latest M365 advancements and implementing best practices will be key to success.

Responsibilities include configuring archiving, retention policies, journal rules, and performing eDiscovery for legal holds. Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Teams Admin Center, and Exchange Admin Center is essential.

Key duties involve the administration and day-to-day support of M365 services. You will configure, manage, and troubleshoot M365 services, particularly Exchange Online, Exchange On-Premises servers, and Microsoft Teams.

Tasks extend to managing Teams settings, policies, and organization-wide configurations, including chat, apps, channels, meetings, guest access, and security.

Additional responsibilities include configuring anti-spam, anti-malware, and anti-phishing policies, monitoring system performance, and generating usage and security reports. Implementing and managing security settings, DLP engineering, and handling security incidents are also critical.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, coupled with over 8 years of experience in administering and supporting M365 workloads. Demonstrated strong knowledge of M365 services like Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Security and Compliance is crucial.

Skills in PowerShell, ITSM tools, and server maintenance, including patching and upgrades, are necessary. Experience with client/server environments, health checks, and bulk reporting is also important.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are paramount. While not mandatory, a Microsoft 365 certification is a strong preference.
