The Manager will work closely with MENA EY Country Teams and clients, providing expertise in financial reporting, technical accounting analysis, and advisory services. Key responsibilities include ensuring the seamless execution of the financial statement close process and statutory reporting for clients. You will coordinate global statutory reporting compliance for international clients, serving as the primary point of contact to deliver exceptional client service. This role also involves coordinating and reviewing activities performed by Centers of Excellence and local EY offices.

Provide in-depth insight into Group GAAP to Local GAAP reconciliations for clients. You will own and maintain internal and external reporting dashboards to track engagement progress. The role demands a proactive approach to challenging existing processes, implementing lean improvements, and upholding uncompromising controls to enhance quality. A detailed review of financial statements and workings is essential to ensure deliverable quality and effective internal review mechanisms. Effective work planning and capacity utilization to support colleagues are also expected.

A strong track record of collaborating with leaders across geographies and managing deliverables in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment is crucial. The ideal candidate will possess an outlook focused on increasing productivity and resource utilization, coupled with the ability to effectively implement process changes with adequate engagement support.

To qualify, candidates must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CWA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, with 6-10 years of experience in IFRS Reporting or Controllership. In-depth knowledge of IFRS or US-GAAP is essential, with a Diploma in IFRS being a preference. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, alongside strong client and stakeholder management capabilities, are required. Experience with international assignments in F&A Transitions, Auditing, or Consulting is considered an advantage.
