Join our team as a Medical Records Coding and Transcription Senior Associate. In this vital role, you will meticulously review patient documentation to identify diagnoses and transform complex healthcare information into standardized alphanumeric codes. This process is crucial for creating a universal language in healthcare, ensuring uniform documentation across facilities and accurately representing causes of injury, illness, and death.

Your primary responsibility will be to thoroughly read and interpret medical documentation to understand assigned patient diagnoses. You will expertly convert healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universally recognized medical alphanumeric codes. A key part of this role involves leveraging your expertise to help train and guide entry-level coders, acting as a Subject Matter Expert for freshers.

Additionally, you will identify and highlight documentation deficiencies within the patient records.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare BPO sector, with a CPC certification being a significant advantage. A strong understanding of EM outpatient coding, along with proficiency in multispecialty and procedure codes, is essential.

You must have at least 1 year of experience using Windows-based PC applications, demonstrating proficiency in keyboard navigation and learning new software.

Flexibility is key, as you will work scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, with potential adjustments based on client needs. This role also requires the ability to accommodate overtime and weekend work as dictated by business requirements. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are necessary to effectively exchange information with our clients.
