Seeking a Senior Associate for Medical Records Coding & Transcription. This role involves a deep understanding of patient diagnoses and the transformation of healthcare documentation into universal medical alphanumeric codes. Medical coders play a vital role in creating a standardized vocabulary for injuries, illnesses, and deaths, ensuring uniform documentation across facilities.

Your core responsibilities will include meticulously reviewing patient documentation to grasp diagnoses. You will be responsible for translating healthcare diagnoses, procedures, and services into standardized medical codes. A key aspect of this role is to create a uniform vocabulary for describing health events, contributing to consistent medical record-keeping.

This position requires at least 3 years of experience within the Healthcare BPO sector, and CPC certification is highly valued. You should possess a strong understanding of EM outpatient coding, multispecialty coding, and procedure codes. Proficiency in using Windows PC applications, including keyboard navigation and software interaction, is essential, alongside effective oral and written English communication skills. Flexibility for overtime and weekend work, as well as adapting to potential shift changes, is expected.
