This role focuses on meticulous medical coding and transcription within a healthcare setting. You will be instrumental in transforming complex medical documentation into standardized alphanumeric codes.

Medical coding ensures a universal language for describing health conditions, injuries, and treatments. This standardized documentation is vital for seamless information exchange between healthcare facilities, enhancing clarity and consistency.

Your primary responsibility involves thoroughly reviewing patient documentation to accurately understand assigned diagnoses.

You will translate healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. A key aspect of this role is identifying trends in documentation deficiencies and providing SME support for junior team members.

This position requires a strong grasp of EM outpatient coding, multispecialty procedures, and the ability to provide constructive audit feedback.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare BPO, specifically within EM outpatient multispecialty coding, is essential. A CPC certification is mandatory for this position.

Proficiency with computer applications, including navigating Windows PC environments and learning new software, is required. You should also demonstrate excellent oral and written English communication skills for effective client interaction.

Candidates must be flexible to work scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, with potential adjustments based on client needs. Willingness to accommodate overtime and weekend work as per business requirements is also expected.
