This role focuses on medical coding and transcription within the healthcare sector. As a Medical Records Coding & Transcription Senior Representative, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate medical data representation. Your primary responsibility will involve transforming complex healthcare information into standardized alphanumeric codes, facilitating clear communication between medical facilities.

Medical coders are essential for creating a universal language for diagnoses, illnesses, and injuries. This process ensures uniformity in documentation, contributing to efficient healthcare operations. The core of this position involves meticulously reviewing clinical documentation and assigning appropriate codes.

You will be responsible for carefully reading medical documentation to thoroughly understand patient diagnoses.

Key duties include transforming healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes.

You will contribute to creating a uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness, and death, which is the fundamental role of medical coders.

This role directly supports uniform documentation and data exchange between medical facilities.

Your primary task will be to review clinical statements and accurately assign standard medical codes.

Ideal candidates will possess 0-1 year of experience in any Healthcare BPO setting.

A university degree or equivalent is required, necessitating at least 3 years of formal study in Life Sciences, Physical Therapy (BPT), Pharmacy (B.Pharm), or Nursing.

Strong knowledge of human Anatomy and Physiology is essential for success in this role.

You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience using a computer with Windows applications, demonstrating proficiency in keyboard use, screen navigation, and software learning.

Ability to work scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, with flexibility for shift changes based on client needs is required.

Openness to accommodate overtime and weekend work as per business demands is necessary.

Effective oral and written communication skills in English are crucial for seamless information exchange with our clients.
