Medical coders are essential for creating a uniform language describing injuries, illnesses, and causes of death, contributing significantly to consistent medical record-keeping and data analysis.

This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Your primary responsibilities will involve carefully reviewing clinical documentation to understand patient diagnoses. You will transform healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes.

Furthermore, you will contribute to creating a uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness, and death. A key task includes reviewing clinical statements and assigning the appropriate standard codes.

We are seeking candidates with at least two years of experience in a healthcare BPO, specifically within Emergency Medicine multispecialty or holding a CPC certification. A strong understanding of EM coding and procedure codes is essential.

Possessing the ability to transition into a Quality Control role is highly desirable. Candidates must also have a minimum of one year of experience using Windows PC applications, demonstrating proficiency with keyboard navigation and adapting to new software.

Availability for scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, is required, with flexibility for shift changes based on client needs. The role also necessitates the ability to accommodate overtime and weekend work according to business requirements.
