Join our team as a Medical Records Coding and Transcription Associate and play a vital role in the healthcare ecosystem. This position focuses on accurately translating patient documentation into standardized medical codes.

Your primary responsibility will involve carefully reviewing clinical notes to understand patient diagnoses and transforming this information into universal medical alphanumeric codes. This ensures consistent and clear documentation across medical facilities, contributing to a uniform vocabulary for health conditions and outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting medical documentation to accurately assign patient diagnoses. You will transform healthcare diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. This process is crucial for creating a uniform vocabulary that describes the causes of injury, illness, and death, enabling standardized documentation between medical facilities. Your main task will be to review clinical statements and assign the appropriate standard codes.

To excel in this role, you should possess at least 2 years of experience in the Healthcare BPO sector, ideally with a focus on EM Multispecialty or hold a CPC certification. A strong understanding of EM coding and procedure codes is essential. We are looking for candidates with the potential to transition into a Quality Control role.

Additionally, you should have a minimum of 1 year of experience using computers with Windows PC applications, demonstrating proficiency in keyboard use, screen navigation, and learning new software. Candidates must be available to work scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, with flexibility for potential shift changes based on client needs. Availability for overtime and weekend work, as dictated by business requirements, is also expected.
