Join our team as a Medical Records Coding and Translation Analyst, a critical role in ensuring accurate healthcare data representation. This position involves translating complex medical documentation into standardized alphanumeric codes, a vital step for uniform data across facilities and for understanding patient diagnoses and outcomes.

Your expertise will contribute to creating a universal language for medical information, simplifying the reporting of injuries, illnesses, and causes of death. This role is essential for maintaining consistent and reliable medical records.

The primary responsibility involves meticulously reviewing patient medical documentation to accurately assign diagnoses and procedure codes.

You will transform healthcare information, including diagnoses, procedures, medical services, and equipment, into universally recognized medical alphanumeric codes.

This role is key to establishing a standardized vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness, and death, ensuring uniform documentation across medical facilities.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare BPO environment, specifically with EM IP or multispecialty coding, or holding a CPC certification is required.

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of EM outpatient coding, multispecialty coding, and procedure codes. Experience as a QC Auditor or willingness to act as an SME for freshers is a plus.

Proficiency with Windows PC applications, including keyboard navigation and learning new software, is necessary. The ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, is essential for client interactions. Flexibility for overtime and weekend work based on business needs is expected, along with the ability to adhere to scheduled shifts (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST), which may be adjusted per client requirements.
