Key responsibilities include assisting with 3D modeling, assemblies, and technical drawings using Creo. You will support the design and development of mechanical components and systems, while also preparing and maintaining engineering documentation. Collaboration with engineering teams on design improvements and participation in prototype development, testing, and validation are integral parts of this role. Additionally, you will assist in material selection, manufacturing process evaluation, and ensure designs meet stringent precision, tolerance, and quality standards for critical applications. Support rapid prototyping to enhance component efficiency.
To be considered, candidates must achieve at least 70% or 7 CGPA in their current degree, with no active backlogs at the time of application. A strong electromechanical project showcasing academic skills is essential. This internship requires a willingness to work on-premises at GE HealthCare and adapt to assigned projects based on business needs. Excellent verbal and written communication, alongside interpersonal and influencing skills, are highly valued. Preferred qualifications include being a team player, embracing mentorship and feedback, and possessing strong analytical and problem-solving abilities within a global team setting.
