As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving new product development, from initial requirements to final production release. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can collaborate with a global team, tackle complex challenges, and make a significant impact.

We are looking for experienced professionals to join our team in Bangalore. This is a permanent position within the Products & Systems Engineering community, focused on delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include designing and developing plastic and sheet metal components using Creo, with a focus on high-voltage connectors, sensors, relays, or functional plastic parts. You will conduct creepage and clearance analysis, perform DFMA and tolerance stack-up analysis, and create comprehensive manufacturing and assembly drawings. Additionally, you'll develop SFMEA, DFMEA, and mitigation plans, and ensure robust product lifecycle management through tools like Windchill.

Responsibilities also involve preparing verification and validation plans, test cases, and reports. You'll perform structural and thermal hand calculations, manage CAD files, and execute engineering change plans in alignment with the change management process. Experience with injection molding, sheet metal stamping, and quality processes like PPAP is highly desirable.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in plastic and sheet product design and development using Creo. Strong proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMA is essential. Candidates must be self-driven, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds.

Good communication skills are a must. Experience with Windchill, product lifecycle management processes, and engineering change management activities is also required. A flexible work schedule to accommodate global team collaboration is expected. Experience in automotive electromechanical plastic components and product verification/validation is considered a significant advantage.
