As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, validation, and continuous enhancement of wind turbine components and mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include creating robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs using NX CAD tools, ensuring strict adherence to engineering standards, safety mandates, and client specifications.

Key duties involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to devise innovative technical solutions. You will support product lifecycle management, conduct crucial design reviews and risk assessments, and champion engineering excellence throughout the entire product development journey.

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 5 to 8 years of specialized experience in wind turbine, heavy engineering, or industrial equipment design. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a background in Heavy Engineering, Industrial Machinery, Wind Energy, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Construction Equipment, is required.

Proficiency in NX and CATIA is essential, coupled with strong experience in parametric modeling, expression-based modeling, part families, and assembly management. You must possess expertise in designing and detailing sheet metal components, fabricated structures, and welded assemblies, alongside a solid understanding of GD&T and engineering drafting standards. Prior experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems is also expected.
