As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, validation, and ongoing enhancement of wind turbine components and mechanical systems. The position requires creating robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs using advanced NX CAD tools, all while adhering to stringent engineering standards, safety protocols, and client specifications.

Key responsibilities include: - Designing and developing wind turbine components and mechanical systems to meet functional, reliability, safety, manufacturability, serviceability, and cost targets. - Creating and modifying 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings in NX. - Developing mechanical concepts and detailed designs for fabricated structures, sheet metal parts, bolted and welded assemblies, and forged/cast components. - Applying advanced CAD methodologies like parametric modeling, expression-based modeling, part families, wave-link geometry, and large assembly management. - Defining and specifying realistic dimensional tolerances and geometric controls using GPS/GD&T principles. - Preparing and maintaining essential engineering documentation, including manufacturing drawings, BOMs, exploded views, and spare parts lists. - Performing tolerance stack-up analysis, interference checks, FFF assessments, and manufacturability evaluations.

Your profile should include: - A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a background in Heavy Engineering, Industrial Machinery, Wind Energy, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Construction Equipment. - Significant hands-on experience with NX CAD software. - Proficiency in parametric modeling, expression-based modeling, part families, and assembly management. - Experience in designing and detailing sheet metal components, fabricated structures, and welded assemblies. - A strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drafting standards. - Familiarity with Teamcenter or comparable Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
