Design and develop wind turbine components and mechanical systems, meeting all functional, safety, and cost requirements. Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using NX. Develop concepts for fabricated structures, sheet metal, and welded assemblies, applying advanced CAD techniques. Define dimensional tolerances using GPS/GD&T principles and prepare comprehensive engineering documentation. Conduct analysis for tolerances, interference, and manufacturability, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Contribute to DFM, DFA, and DFS initiatives, perform FMEA and risk assessments, and lead technical discussions. Support PLM activities, manage engineering changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful product implementation.

A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required, with a strong background in Heavy Engineering, Industrial Machinery, Wind Energy, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or Construction Equipment. You'll need 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with NX and CATIA, including proficiency in parametric modeling, assembly management, and designing sheet metal, fabricated structures, and welded assemblies.

Solid understanding of GD&T and engineering drafting standards is essential. Experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems is highly valued. This role is for experienced professionals seeking a permanent position within our Products & Systems Engineering community.
