We are seeking a Senior Manual Tester to join our team and ensure the highest quality for our automotive software solutions. This role requires extensive experience in manual testing methodologies and a strong command of API testing using Postman. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

This position is based in Bengaluru, India, and involves a full-time commitment. We are looking for professionals with 5-7 years of dedicated experience in quality assurance, particularly in manual and API testing.

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual testing of software applications. Utilize Postman for robust API testing, verifying endpoint functionality and adherence to requirements. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide quality feedback. Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews, contributing to testability and quality aspects. Conduct regression testing to safeguard existing functionality from new feature impacts. Mentor junior testers, promoting best practices in manual testing. Continuously refine testing processes and methodologies to elevate overall product quality.

Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience in manual testing techniques and methodologies. Exhibit proficiency in using Postman for effective API testing. Possess experience in crafting clear and concise test cases and defect reports. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within an Agile framework is essential. Showcase excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. 5-7 years of experience in manual testing, with a specific focus on API testing using Postman, is mandatory.
