As a Workday Finance Functional Consultant, you will analyze business requirements, design effective solutions, and configure Workday Finance modules. Key responsibilities include conducting workshops, gathering requirements, performing fit-gap analysis, and preparing essential documentation like FDDs and BRDs. You will collaborate with technical teams on customizations and integrations, conduct system testing, and provide end-user training and support during deployment and post-go-live phases.

Further responsibilities involve supporting data migration, validation, and cutover activities, as well as troubleshooting functional issues. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Manufacturing, and Technical departments, is essential for success in this role. You will leverage your hands-on experience across the full Workday Finance implementation lifecycle.

We are seeking a skilled Workday Finance Functional Consultant with 3 to 10 years of experience. Essential functional expertise is required in modules such as Financial Data Model (FDM), Financial Accounting, Banking & Settlement, Budgets, Procurement, Supplier Accounts & Contracts, Customer Accounts & Contracts, Business Assets, Expenses, Projects/PSA, Taxes, Inventory, Extend, Reporting, Adaptive, and Security. A strong understanding of business processes and industry best practices is crucial.

Candidates must possess experience in requirement gathering, solution design, and documentation, with the ability to conduct workshops and engage effectively with business stakeholders. Familiarity with third-party application integrations and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are paramount.

An educational background including a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an MBA in Finance is required. While not mandatory, experience in Agile or Scrum environments and relevant Workday certifications will be considered advantageous.
