This role offers the opportunity to support the Total Rewards portfolio for specific businesses, alongside the Benefits, Wellness, and Policies portfolio for GDS India. You will serve as the primary analytical anchor for the annual reward cycle, encompassing budgeting, benchmarking, and review processes. Leveraging predictive modeling and workforce analytics, you will drive strategy and proactively partner with Talent teams and business line management. Your focus will be on identifying, analyzing, and addressing compensation issues with data-backed total compensation philosophies and strategies for key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include advanced compensation analytics and data intelligence, driving data-driven decision-making by analyzing the ROI of compensation and benefit interventions using quantitative metrics. You will build, maintain, and scale interactive compensation dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting platforms.
Support the assigned lead throughout the compensation lifecycle, including benchmarking, budgeting, and bonus cycles. Identify and leverage market intelligence sources, and perform deep-dive root cause analysis on recruitment and talent retention data points, providing actionable recommendations for program design. Conduct ad hoc analysis for costing, program effectiveness, and trend analysis. Participate in compensation and benefits surveys to assess competitive market positioning and identify opportunities for technology transformation in process areas.
To excel in this role, you should possess a graduate or postgraduate qualification and 8-12 years of proven experience in compensation and benefits, with strong hands-on HR/Compensation Analytics skills.
Essential technical skills include advanced Microsoft Excel (Macros, Power Query, O365), Power BI/Tableau dashboard development, data analytics and visualization, statistical modeling, workforce analytics, and HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM). A good understanding of compensation and benefits principles, legislation in India, and basic taxation laws applicable to compensation is also required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, along with a track record for planning and auditing work, are crucial.
