You will be instrumental in uncovering and leveraging the value within vast amounts of data, providing strategic guidance and implementation services to manage data and convert it into actionable insights for fact-driven decision-making. This role focuses on business intelligence, data management, performance management, and cutting-edge analytics.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Java-based API automation and microservices testing within retail banking environments.

Design, develop, and maintain robust API and microservices automation frameworks using Java.

Execute comprehensive testing of Java-based APIs, microservices, core banking services, payment flows, and backend systems.

Validate end-to-end service interactions, system integrations, and critical customer journeys.

Seamlessly integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Lead root cause analysis, actively participate in defect triage, and contribute to enhancing overall quality governance.

Collaborate effectively with backend, payments, cloud, and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality releases.

Contribute to and meticulously review Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Management activities.

A minimum of 6 years of experience as an SDET or in QA Automation is essential.

Proficiency in Java programming is mandatory, alongside hands-on experience with API automation tools such as REST Assured and Postman/Newman.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of service contracts, mocking/stubbing, JSON/XML validation, API schema validation, and integration testing patterns.

Solid exposure to retail banking processes including accounts, cards, payments, onboarding, and transactions is required.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, coupled with strong Linux skills for log analysis and debugging backend flows, is crucial.

Familiarity with API development fundamentals, including endpoints, status codes, payload structures, and authentication, is expected. Candidates must pass an in-office Spartan test, followed by a Karat Assessment.
