This Manager role in TAX - GCR - Global Compliance & Reporting, specifically for the TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) industry in Hyderabad, focuses on helping TMT organizations navigate the complexities of industry convergence. We empower these companies to enhance employee and customer experiences, retain talent, achieve operational excellence, guard their data, and pursue M&A strategies for sustainable growth and leadership in the future technology revolution.

Develop and execute account strategies for Direct Tax (DT) offerings targeting specific industry and market segments. Drive the development and sale of new solutions, such as managed services and technology solutions, as part of Go-to-Market initiatives. Enhance the visibility of EY DT services through branding efforts and support proposal development. Cultivate strong internal relationships across Service Lines and with the Business Development team to identify new client opportunities and drive sales.

Monitor and report on sales opportunities, pipelines, and wins, identifying opportunities for cross-selling Tax, Company Secretary, and other services. Lead and manage assignments, including pricing, billing, and recovery, to maximize fee opportunities with partner guidance. Develop robust value-based solutions and apply technical expertise to deliver complex client solutions, understanding macro and strategic issues within client engagements. Build specialized expertise and gain recognition as a technical resource within your service line, while participating in service line teams and firm-wide special projects.

A qualified Chartered Accountant with 4-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Corporate Tax, Personal Tax, or International Tax. You should possess excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, verbal/written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills. Comfort interacting with senior executives, both within EY and at client organizations, is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative, with a practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions.
