NVIDIA
NVIDIA seeks a seasoned engineering leader to build and guide teams focused on infrastructure and validation for their Local AI and PC gaming R&D. This role is instrumental in developing the software infrastructure, automated testing, and debugging tools crucial for reliable, large-scale validation. You will also oversee NVIDIA's primary hardware cluster for these domains, ensuring operational readiness and system integrity to maximize engineering productivity.
Key responsibilities include defining the infrastructure and validation strategy for next-generation platforms such as RTX PCs, DGX Spark, and more. You will spearhead the creation of scalable automation and robust infrastructure to validate AI inference frameworks, kernel libraries, and DirectX gaming drivers, ultimately accelerating product delivery and quality.
This leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the future of cutting-edge computing technologies.
Lead and expand infrastructure and validation engineering teams, overseeing CI/CD, test development, automation, regression analysis, failure triage, debugging, and lab operations. Define and execute the team's technical roadmap, setting priorities and delivery commitments for Local AI and PC gaming, balancing long-term improvements with immediate engineering needs.
Drive the creation and deployment of realistic tests and benchmarks, supported by robust automation for environment setup, execution, log collection, and results analysis. Develop tools for failure reproduction and analysis of logs and system metrics. Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and resolve functional and performance issues across the entire stack.
Ensure the reliability and scalability of build systems, CI pipelines, test orchestration, and hardware labs. Manage staffing, hardware capacity, schedules, and investments in conjunction with infrastructure, security, and operations partners. Communicate strategy, progress, risks, and technical trade-offs effectively to engineering teams and senior leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including graphics, drivers, platform, product, and open-source, to define requirements, align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver infrastructure that enhances engineering productivity.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. A minimum of 3 years in a management role and over 10 years of comprehensive software engineering experience, with a strong background in system software, platform, runtime, or systems infrastructure development, is essential.
Demonstrated success in managing large, high-performing software teams, setting technical direction, developing talent, and achieving results through team efforts. Deep understanding of system programming and operating systems concepts, including APIs, processes, threads, concurrency, memory and resource management, and software-hardware interaction is expected.
Experience in designing, debugging, profiling, or optimizing software across system boundaries, leveraging instrumentation and performance data to enhance correctness, reliability, and efficiency. Proven ability to set technical strategy, define operational goals, lead multi-team engineering programs, and balance staffing, capacity, schedules, and investments. Excellent communication skills to convey technical decisions to senior stakeholders and align partners across software and hardware disciplines.
