Your role is pivotal in driving the end-to-end engineering delivery of scalable, compliant, and high-quality healthcare applications. You will collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and advance health optimization worldwide.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the communities we serve, fostering a healthier future through advanced care management, provider integrations, and streamlined regulatory workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead the complete delivery lifecycle of clinical applications, from initial design through production deployment. Oversee sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Engage proactively with clinical, provider, and operations teams to deeply understand workflows. Translate complex clinical requirements into effective technical solutions and system capabilities, supporting areas like care management platforms and provider integrations.

Provide strong engineering leadership by managing software engineers, leads, and QA resources. Establish and enforce high standards for coding, design principles, and overall quality. Mentor your team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring excellence in software development, testing, and maintenance.

Contribute significantly to system architecture and technical design decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant. Champion the adoption of modern engineering practices, automation, and AI capabilities to drive innovation.

Serve as the primary engineering liaison for clinical initiatives, collaborating with product managers, architects, and subject matter experts. Maintain alignment between business priorities and engineering execution, while ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, security protocols, and governance processes like change management and risk assessment.

Qualifications

A graduate degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering. You should possess over 10 years of comprehensive software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in people management.

Demonstrated expertise in Java, Python, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and database technologies (PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL) is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, containerized deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices is also crucial.

A solid understanding of system design, distributed systems, performance optimization, and scalability is expected. Experience within the healthcare or clinical domain, including an understanding of care management workflows and regulatory compliance, is highly desirable.

Strong leadership skills, including team management, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration, are vital. The ability to effectively manage global teams (US + India) and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills will be key to success in this role.
